HOW TO USE PERCENT ASYMMETRIC
<< QUESTION >>
Hi Roger,
Thanks. Indicator is working on my PC.
I have few questions about how to use the indicator. I have attached the chart image. Here example is to go long.
1) Where should be the stop loss should be for this long position. I have marked is it is correct ?
2) Where should be trailing stop placed. I have marked on the chart with SP.
3) If my understanding is correct we reverse the position from long to short when the color of the indicator changes.
4) Where can I find UK Spread betting guide showing how I made a 25,543% return in 12 years. I did join the forum was not able to find it.
5) Your record has been really impressive in terms of last 12 yrs annual returns. Can you please provide more input. I cannot day trade as I still have a full time job. I am looking to swing trade forex and may be equities. I do have intermediate experience in trading.
6) Any specific settings for forex I can user for 4 hr and daily charts. IT is hard to judge for forex as strategy back testing will not work on forex.
Appreciate your inputs.
Thanks.
<< ANSWER >>
1. The line on your screenshot represents the stop loss as its an "always in the market model"
2. See above
3. Correct, however the markings on your screenshot 1st long entry are 4 bars late as the signal is generated the very instant the line plot switches from above to below the price.
4. I did not write that yet guide as its future planned article.
5. If you have a full time job then your choice of time frame ( 5 minute chart ) and percent settings ( 0.35 ) in your screenshot will generate too many trades to be practical for your needs. It might be more practical to set wider percentages on longer time frame charts.
6. The choice of percent settings is made by the user after they carry out their back testing to find suitable settings. As you have purchased the silver version which is indicator only this cannot be back tested as only the strategy can be back tested.
As I am not regulated by any official body I am not allowed to suggest parameters or markets,
