PRECISION STOP AS BESPOKE EXIT ONLY MODEL
<
Hello Roger,
I really like what I see about the precision stop :D
but I was wondering if I could ask for some custom programming to it for Ninja 7.
I would like the Precision stop but with one modification:
-- that I am able to click on the bar that the precision stop starts calculating from.
This is because in my system some bars are "more important" than others and they start my trades so I would like the precision stop to start plotting and calculating from that bar and that bar only... not a previous one.
--- also it would be great if there was a button on the tool bar of the chart that I hit and then I can click on the bar that I want the stop to start from. or a keyboard short cut. :)
--- Also since the precision stop will need 'direction' at first... If I click BELOW a "Up" bar the Prec. Stop can start calculating downwards ( I mean- downtrend mode). If I click over the bar then it can start calculating in long mode with the Precision stop line under the bars. :)
Is this possible..? This would be great for my system because then I can select the precision stop from my bars of entry for my system and analysis.
Thank you very much for your time,

Without seeing your code it is hard to offer a price for this job, I also note that your model used in this way with Precision Stop cannot be back tested due to the human element in clicking the "important bar" to attach the stop.
It is possible to make the Precision stop as exit only so if an open position was detected it would automatically assign an exit stop value and trail up or down as the market moves. Likewise if your strategy produced a sell signal based on a profit target ( thus going flat ) it would cancel the stop.
It would have to be a bespoke job as its not a feasible "public offering" as not many people have asked for this. You can provide more information if you want an exact price.
I fail to see the advantage of a mouse click or keyboard short cut as it can be automatically assigned when an open position is placed, please explain why you think it is needed?
